There’s always little gems to be found, but searching on AngleseyLocal will give you a head start. It’s no secret that the pubs have always played an essential part of any town or village, typically as a social arena to discuss the latest events over a nice cold pint, or just as a nice quiet retreat.

Many of the old pubs have an extensive history and are hotspots for many tourists. According to Rebecca Burr, the editor of the renowned Michelin Eating Out in Pubs 2015 guide; “Pubs are a quintessential part of Welsh life and the standard of food being served in them continues to reach new heights. Chefs and pub owners are not only embracing this idea but some are taking it a stage further by growing their own fruit, vegetables and herbs, and by keeping chickens and rearing pigs.”
