Many of the local farms in Anglesey sell fresh produce directly to the public and some farms even give you the opportunity to meet their animals. Quite a number of farms also offer B&B’s, self-catering holiday accommodation and camp sites. Why not visit Foel Farm Park to experience a great family outing where you can experience a real working farm and have fun meeting the animals with chances to even feed them.
One of the main annual events in Anglesey is the Anglesey County Show which is known to be one of Wales’ biggest summer agricultural events for families. The cultural importance and social gathering make this event boast a high amount of footfall year after year. You can experience everything from show jumping, show horses, livestock, agricultural machinery, chickens, and goats as well as locally produced farm products, crafts and much more.
